This Tour Bus was hand built by two local fellows, and will take visitors on a scenic tour of the historic mining area. The bus was built using running gear from a 1974 Toyota , cowl and hood from a 1928 Pontiac, 1935 Chev headlights and a 1924 Ford bumper

The B.C. Open Gold Panning Championship, held each May long weekend at the campground, draws competitors and spectators from Canada, U.S. and even Europe. The categories are :youth, novice, intermediate and expert.
